Goodbye Hong Kong -- Week 78

It's been crazy.  6 June 2018-19 December 2019. 18 months. 13 companions. Full of tears, heartache, and being completely broken only to teach me how to rely on my God and find the purest joy, and living in bliss. I know everyone says it, but it really is true. It has been the best time of my life. I have learned many things, but I just want to share a few.

1. God's love is unconditional. He will never abandon you
2. Christ is mine, yours, and our Savior. When he was in the Garden, the way he got through it was thinking of you. So when life gets hard just take a second to think of Christ on His knees in the Garden thinking of you.
3. He hears and answers prayers. Trust me.

I will forever be thankful for the people I've met and the experiences I've had.

Hong Kong will always feel like home.

I know this gospel really does change lives. I've seen it, and it's changed my life. It's true and will bless you.

Thanks for all the prayers over the past 18 months. Seriously I'm so grateful! Love you all.

I report on the 29th at 10:30 am. I'd love to see you all there.

Tipsie -- Week 77

Sooo something so funny happened. We ran out of gas at our apartment, so we had to order more and that was a mess. But anyway when the man finally came to bring it to us he came in and hooked it all up. Then when he was done he knocked off one of the glass lids in the kitchen and it shattered all over the floor. He then stood there and was like "aiyaaa!" like it was our fault lol. So I just said no problem, and went to pay him. Then he didn't want to give us back the right amount of money he said "I need coffee! Tipsie! Tipsie!" then he just left not giving back all the money. After we just laughed because in the process he had been so inconvenienced by breaking our lid and then wanted a Tipsie.

But for reals this week was good. Many miracles. We met this cute girl on the street the other day and she came to church with us yesterday. After church we asked her what she thought. And she talked about the sacrament part. How special it was and how she's never felt that feeling before.

Remember the reason for this Christmas season. Christ is living, and there to help us. Hope you all have the best week. Thanks for all you do.

18 Months Out -- Week 76

Well this week I'll hit 18 months out. And it still feels like yesterday I left and started this crazy adventure.

This week was Thanksgiving, so it's only right to be thankful. Thankful for

-exchanges with my first trainee and to see the progress she's made!
-Hong Kong! (I was literally so happy when I stepped off the boat and went to the MTR)
-seeing so many of my best friends at zone conference, and the relationships we've formed all the way in Hong Kong
-the miracle of this restored gospel, and that a young boy had enough faith to see God and Heavenly Father.
-The people we meet everyday and can share why we are so happy
-movie night after 9
-REESE'S

-members of this amazing and true church
-running into RCs from other areas, and missionaries who used to be here
-Macau. The place I now call home.
-Google Maps...I don't know where I'd be with out it😂
-Family and Friends
-and so many more!

But most of all I'm thankful for the knowledge of my savior and our father who is in heaven. The relationship I have with them, and the relationship everyone can have. I hope you always remember they are there. No matter what you do or what you've done. Make them a part of your life and I know you will not regret it. I promise.

Love you all. Have the best week. Thank you for all the prayers and support!

East So Much Food For Me -- Week 75

Hello 朋友!

Sooo one day I walk into the church and see this kid who looks so familiar. Anyway start talking to him and find out he was recently baptized. He just looks so familiar and I can't figure out why. Keep talking and then I find out that I've met him before.

About 5 months ago I came out to Macau and went on exchanges for the day here. We went finding and had met this kid and taught him in some park! Soo it was super cool to see him again and see how much he progressed.

This week also got to have interviews with president and sister Phillips. Its always so good. They are just such solid people and so real. Love them so much.

And then Sunday was the primary program. Soo cute. They asked all us missionaries to help sing because there was only 3 kids. But it was so fun to sing primary songs again.

So many miracles this week and so cool to just watch God. See the things He does each day.

I'm so thankful for this opportunity. Hope you all have a thankful week and eat so much food for me! Thanks for all you do

Transfer to Macau--Week 74

Wow this week was crazy. On Tuesday we had a meeting with the mission and at the end President told us that we were getting new missionaries, so they would do new transfers.

So I am currently in Macau with the cutest companion. She is from Hong Kong. Her name is sister Lam.

This week has been good we were in a trio for a couple days and that was interesting but super fun.

Also ate yummy food.

We have seen so many good things everyday.

Well thanks for all the prayers. Love you all. Hope the best week.
