Exchanges in Macau -- Week 56

It's been a while since I've eaten something new. This week ate eel and jelly fish. So that was lit.

This week has been full of adventures and miracles. One adventure was trying to flag down a taxi for 30 min to get sister Sloan to the ER. Don't worry she is okay now. But an adventure for sure.

Also this week went on lots of exchanges. By far one of the best ones was going to Macau. So president drove us to Macau and it was awesome. On the way we drove through part of mainland...so technically went to mainland this week. Anyway, it was cool to see the difference there. Also weird because lots of the people were born in Macau, and many times I ask where they were born....and it was weird not hearing China or Hong Kong.

But had one of the coolest experiences yesterday. So decided to fast for lots of different reasons, but was definitely blessed. We had 3 families come to church and then a 8 year old get baptized. This is what happened in the words of Sister Sorensen, "It was a girl who's whole family are members, which is so cool. They are just spiritual powerhouses. However, we invited a lot of our friends to the baptism. Two teenage girls in particular. They have both been meeting with us for a while but are having a hard time with baptism. However, they were both very late. One came in as the girl and her dad were getting in the font. We all just assumed our other friend wouldn't make it in time. However, God is one of miracles! The little girl was baptized and two seconds later our friend walks in. So sad...we thought she missed it. BUT, good news. They needed to redo the baptism. Our friend got a chance to see it which is so important! Timing is everything, and God always knows better than we do. He knows the timing of everything and puts people where they need to be. What a miracle."

So yes a miracle they showed up, but even cooler part was the spirit was so strong. I just looked around at one time, the room packed with people and just so much love. Seeing and Re realizing that we are all children of our Heavenly Father. He loves us so much. No matter who we are or where we come from.

Okay sorry this was long. Remember who you are. A daughter or son of a Heavenly Father who loves us beyond our comprehension. Love you all. Thanks for the prayers and support. They work miracles.

God Is Listening -- Week 55

Hello 大家。This week has been another week full of miracles. One that is super cool is going into Sunday we didn't know if anyone would show up. We got all the normal excuses and no one confirmed. I just prayed for the people I knew had potential. Then we had a member who is a little bit less active come to the first ward, then when we were going to the second ward we texted this mom to see if we would see her, and she said she had already arrived. She brought her kids and it was awesome. Then two other girls showed up and it was just a testimony to me that God is listening. He listens to us and our prayers. He loves us and hears us. Just remember you have a perfect father who will never leave you alone. If you ever feel alone just take a minute, kneel down and ask if He knows you. Who you are and what you are going through. I promise He knows and loves you.

This week I was able to go on exchanges back to my old area! It was super cool to go back and see some people that I have previously met.

Last Monday got to see sister Johnson again. She came to visit and we went biking and it was super sick.

The church is true. Thank you all for the support and prayers. remember you're each a child of God. Hope this week is awesome.

Tai Chi -- Week 54

This week has been good. Filled with lots of miracles.

But first a fun story. So we were finding and it was almost time for us to leave. I saw this lady doing Tai chi (if that's how you spell it) and so I asked her if she could teach us. She let us do it with her for like 10 min. She had to keep restarting because we kept messing up, but it was fun to just do tai chi with some lady on the street and share a little bit of why we are here.

Another time this week we were eating and we saw these two tourists. I asked them where they were from. One was from Germany and one from Brazil. Just travelling the world. It's always super cool to meet people where friends are serving. We told them who we are and if they run into missionaries in the future to listen to them.

One more thing this week was we were able to go to the temple for the last time before it closes. It was super cool. It was a session of just missionaries and president and sister Phillips. A really cool feeling. Just knowing that we are all here doing the same things.

God loves us. Every single one of us. Christ is here with us each and everyday. I'm thankful for this opportunity. Thank you all for your support. I love you all.

Out One Year -- Week 53

This week has been super good. Definitely seen so many different miracles.

I was able to go on exchanges and when we ate lunch we saw this girl. I felt like we should talk to her...I pushed off the prompting for a little (I know I've already repented) but God gave us another chance. Anyways I just told her I liked her shirt, and then she didn't even speak Cantonese only mandarin hahah. But she could speak in broken English and it was super cool. She's been looking for a Christian church and all she had was an email, but it was really cool. If you open your mouth God will fill it and provide a way.

Also this week we were out on the street finding, and I was talking to this old lady. I was talking and then her dog came and peed on my foot. So gross. But oh well she saw the tag and could feel the spirit hahah.

Oh and we were at the pier the other day and I asked these people if they wanted me to help them take a picture. They said yeah and so I did. Then as I was doing it my phone dropped and shattered my screen RIP. Oh well got to help some people take a dope pic.

I can't believe I've been out a year. I've learned and grown so much. I just want to thank you all for your support because I couldn't do it without you. Seriously so many of you have impacted my life and I am so thankful for your example. Love you all.

Week 52 -- Enjoy Summer

Well not a ton of time. This week was transfers. So they whitewashed our elders so this will be fun.

On the way home one day I sat by this guy on the bus and started talking. His wife came up and I asked where she was. Turns out she was sitting on the other side of the aisle on the bus...i was so confused. Probably if you're married and love your wife you could sit by her? Oh well they were still cute.

Anyway this week I really thought of how aware God is of each of us. He is in the details of our lives. He knows us each individually.

Thanks for all your prayers. Hope this week is good. Enjoy summer.
