East So Much Food For Me -- Week 75

Hello 朋友!

Sooo one day I walk into the church and see this kid who looks so familiar. Anyway start talking to him and find out he was recently baptized. He just looks so familiar and I can't figure out why. Keep talking and then I find out that I've met him before.

About 5 months ago I came out to Macau and went on exchanges for the day here. We went finding and had met this kid and taught him in some park! Soo it was super cool to see him again and see how much he progressed.

This week also got to have interviews with president and sister Phillips. Its always so good. They are just such solid people and so real. Love them so much.

And then Sunday was the primary program. Soo cute. They asked all us missionaries to help sing because there was only 3 kids. But it was so fun to sing primary songs again.

So many miracles this week and so cool to just watch God. See the things He does each day.

I'm so thankful for this opportunity. Hope you all have a thankful week and eat so much food for me! Thanks for all you do

Transfer to Macau--Week 74

Wow this week was crazy. On Tuesday we had a meeting with the mission and at the end President told us that we were getting new missionaries, so they would do new transfers.

So I am currently in Macau with the cutest companion. She is from Hong Kong. Her name is sister Lam.

This week has been good we were in a trio for a couple days and that was interesting but super fun.

Also ate yummy food.

We have seen so many good things everyday.

Well thanks for all the prayers. Love you all. Hope the best week.

Jesus Taught Us Not To Judge -- Week 73

Sooo we were out finding when we stopped this lady who refused to talk to us in Chinese, then she kindly told us how our church was a cult. She was very concerned for our welfare and told us to go to any other church. Suggestions included the protestant and Baptist churches. Anyway, she proceeded to ask where we were from. When I said Utah she then said, yes that's the headquarters and they all have one husband and multiple wives. At the conclusion she kindly said she would pray for us. And who couldn't use more prayers?

And then while talking to another lady, this drunk Australian man came and asked if we were Mormons. Then he told us so many random things that he had heard....which are all incorrect. Then he told us there is a musical about our church and we should go watch it. Then he said he won't judge us. Which is good because Jesus taught us not to judge hahahah.

This week has been full of moments and memories. Thankful for this opportunity that I have. Thanks for all your prayers. Love you all. Have the bestest week of your life.

Never a Point of No Return -- Week 72

So the coolest thing is just when I realize I'm here in Hong Kong just talking to people about Jesus Christ. The perfect person. And then get to also share about our perfect Father. One who knows us so much better than we know ourselves. One who can see much further than we can see. One who is there regardless of anything we do. Or anything we say. And there is never a point of no return.

And then I realize I'm doing this with my best friend. So not only is it the coolest experience of life, but also so fun.

-We each ate 9 tacos and got 5 guys
-ate frozen cookie dough + goldfish + cheetos
-Did too many facemasks
-Laughed countless times
-Pointed to our tags...and mine had bird poop on it
-Made dinner and watched a show
-Saw our friends progress and Understand God more fully
-Looked for little ways to serve people
-Shared about hope and love in a world filled with distractions, and on the streets lined with dried fish and countless other things.

And so many others. And that's when you realize this whole thing is about the people. The children of our Father. Those precious souls. Keep looking for them, because we are promised we will find them, or they will find us.

Hope you all have a great week. Thanks for the prayers. Love you all

(Sister Blake & Ellie went to Hong Kong Disneyland on this Pday.  They said it was quiet and no lines. they had a blast.  They've been wanting to go since they arrived in Hong Kong together from the MTC.  Now that they are companions for a bit, they decided to go.)
