Okay so this week we taught our fake investigators once again...surprise right? hahah just kidding. We taught Mandy about Jesus and his earthly ministry. We decided to show a short video of Jesus getting baptized and baptizing others. So we downloaded it in Cantonese on our iPads. In English the video is less than 2 minutes....I guess we forgot to look how long it was in Cantonese. It was like 5 minutes long! And most of it was just water sounds hahah. Sister Blake and I were trying not to laugh in the lesson, and had no idea when it would be over.

This week was good. Yesterday was amazing. We had the 12 apostles come to our Sunday night devotional. The only members not in attendance were the First Presidency. I felt the spirit so strong while singing. Like when they walked in we were all singing the intro music, and we all stood, and it was so cool, and then a lot of the mission presidents turned around and would just look at all the missionaries. It was kind of a cool experience.
Elder Cook gave the devotional. It was a worldwide devotional, so all the MTCs around the world were watching. He talked about the 4 loves of missionary work.
1. Love your companion.
2. Love the people of your mission.
3. Love your mission president and his wife
4. Love your Lord Jesus Christ
One of the coolest things he said was at the end of his message. He said, "My dear friends, you have our prayers, our blessings, and our love." I really loved that.
Also this week we got to officially meet our mission president and his wife. They are so cute.

Oh one more quick story. When I was walking back to my class with the rest of my district, I was playing with my ID card and mindlessly swinging it around my fingers. The executive secretary of the MTC decided to stop me and ask if he could tell me something. I said sure, and then he said, "If Elder Bednar was walking around these halls, would he do that?" I then stopped and apologized for swinging my ID card. Now it's a joke between us all and all week we have been on the lookout for Elder Bednar hahah.
Today: There was a cute sister in the temple who came up to us as we walked out of the celestial room. She asked if we were missionaries and said she could see something different. She served in the Philippines and so when she found out Sis Mangubat was from there she was so happy. They spoke Cebauno to each other. She said she has just found out that someone she loved from her mission died, and so she went to the temple looking for something to help and that she could speak her mission language and talk about the Philippines to someone was exactly what she was looking for. An answer to prayers. So that was kinda cool
Anyway, hope you all are good. Thanks for all the prayers. They are much appreciated. Hope you have a great week.
