It's been a while since I've eaten something new. This week ate eel and jelly fish. So that was lit.
This week has been full of adventures and miracles. One adventure was trying to flag down a taxi for 30 min to get sister Sloan to the ER. Don't worry she is okay now. But an adventure for sure.
Also this week went on lots of exchanges. By far one of the best ones was going to Macau. So president drove us to Macau and it was awesome. On the way we drove through part of mainland...so technically went to mainland this week. Anyway, it was cool to see the difference there. Also weird because lots of the people were born in Macau, and many times I ask where they were born....and it was weird not hearing China or Hong Kong.
But had one of the coolest experiences yesterday. So decided to fast for lots of different reasons, but was definitely blessed. We had 3 families come to church and then a 8 year old get baptized. This is what happened in the words of Sister Sorensen, "It was a girl who's whole family are members, which is so cool. They are just spiritual powerhouses. However, we invited a lot of our friends to the baptism. Two teenage girls in particular. They have both been meeting with us for a while but are having a hard time with baptism. However, they were both very late. One came in as the girl and her dad were getting in the font. We all just assumed our other friend wouldn't make it in time. However, God is one of miracles! The little girl was baptized and two seconds later our friend walks in. So sad...we thought she missed it. BUT, good news. They needed to redo the baptism. Our friend got a chance to see it which is so important! Timing is everything, and God always knows better than we do. He knows the timing of everything and puts people where they need to be. What a miracle."
So yes a miracle they showed up, but even cooler part was the spirit was so strong. I just looked around at one time, the room packed with people and just so much love. Seeing and Re realizing that we are all children of our Heavenly Father. He loves us so much. No matter who we are or where we come from.
Okay sorry this was long. Remember who you are. A daughter or son of a Heavenly Father who loves us beyond our comprehension. Love you all. Thanks for the prayers and support. They work miracles.
