Well this week started off with lots of goodbyes. I only cried like twice when saying goodbye to some of the amazing people we have met. Sister Sloan and I decided we had to have one last companionship "date" so we went to pizza hut and got pizza lol. It was pretty yummy.
On Thursday we woke up and dragged all my stuff through the streets of Hong Kong in the rain to get my new companion. I said goodbye to sister Sloan and hello to Sister Ugnos. She is so cute and from the Philippines!
The first thing she said to me was "just to warn you we have rats." Literally our apartment has rats. If we leave anything out while we leave or overnight the rats eat it. So that was a great welcome lol.
Then on the first day as companions we were coming home, and ran onto the train as the doors were closing thinking she was right there with me....the doors closed and she was still outside hahaha. So I got off at the next stop and waited for her. what a great first day.
Also this week when we were out finding I saw this black guy. I asked my comp where she thought he was from and she was like "africa." So then I asked him and turns out he was from Germany! So said Guten Tag...but he was busy and ran to catch the bus. Maybe the missionaries in Berlin will find him one day.
Oh one more thing that happened was I was just sleeping having probably a great dream....and all of a sudden the fire alarm goes off. It was like 3 am. So I got out of bed and figured out how to turn if off...then the next night it went off again. So I just threw it in the freezer. lol
Also this new area doesn't have a ton of work going on so if anyone has any advice on finding people or thing we could do to strengthen the ward members it would be much appreciated.
Thank you all for your prayers. I hope everyone is doing good, and has a good week. Love you all.
